Notes: Mathilde Stengaard and Lotte Maxild played wind instruments like clarinets etc. (Maxild being from fellow Aarhus-band Singvogel - formerly of Vildensky who borrowed strings from Under Byen on their last album), Rune Krogshede played trumpet and Sofus Forsberg and Flemming Bloch did some programming.
A 1000 copies from the first Danish pressing all had unique hand made touches added to them by the band (like other pictures or cloth glued into the booklet).

Notes: The soundtrack for the teenage film "2 Moved And A Pass" by Aarhus-director Aage Rais-Nordentoft. Tracks 11 through 19 is the original score and was recorded by Under Byen for the film. "Sacred Land" is the only English language song recorded by Under Byen so far. The lyrics for it was written by Anders Stochholm. Katrine Stochholm sings lead vocals on "Mathilde (Valsch Med Mig)". In general many of the tracks where not written by the entire band as the credits in the sleeve reveal. Some songs were composed by just one band member and others by maybe two or three members.
The main part of cd are pop songs by other bands which was also used in the film. The movie itself contains more sounds and small pieces of music by Under Byen than on the cd.

Notes: While Katrine Stochholm had left the band long before the album's release she is still the composer of three songs on it: Tindrer, Palads and Slå Sorte Hjerte.
The album's original release date was March 6th, 2006, but it was postponed for two days.
Among the mixers were Carsten Heller (who produced albums by popular Danish bands Nephew and Spleen United), New York-based musician and producer Kevin Salem (he among other things produced parts of Giant Sand's "Chore Of Enchantment" album - the band with Under Byen-collaborator Howe Gelb at the helm) and British musician Leafcutter John (who also spend time with the band at their recording sessions in Sweden).
On the first printing of the cd songs 7 and 8 where by error put on the same cd track. Hence the cd has 11 cd tracks, but 12 songs. The little instrumental piece "Mere af det samme og meget mere af det hele" got attached to the end of "Film og omvendt".

Notes: The music by Nils Gröndahl was used at the exhibition "Skabelsen - nutidskunst til syv dage" [Genesis - contemporary art for seven days] alongside the paintings of Tove Dammand Jensen. Excerpts from the music was put on a cd that came with the two catalogues/programs that were made for the exhibition. The exhibition was at KunstCenteret Silkeborg Bad and was from September 9th 2004 to January 2nd 2005.

Notes: "Jeg har noget tilsvarende derhjemme" is a remastered rerelease of "Skabelsen - nutidskunst til syv dage" from 2004 on the SOPA label. The two tracks from the original has switched places and put into one track of a total length of 26 minutes. The sound has been improved and the track is now about two minutes longer than the original.

Originally set for a 2005 release.

To be released by Morningside Records.

Notes: Katrine Stochholm is working on a soloalbum on which she had help from Howe Gelb and other musicians. Initial rumours said a release in late 2004 on Morningside Records, but then the word was sometime in 2005. Not much news on the project for a long time.

Notes: The Sandman Series is a string of cd-r's with authorized live bootleg recordings done by fans etc. distributed for free through the socalled "cd-r tree" at Howe Gelb's homepage www.giantsand.com - and should not be traded outside the "tree". The shows at Café Mozart in the summer of 2002 were where Under Byen members appeared as guest musicians. Mostly Nils Gröndahl, but Myrtha Wolf, Katrine Stochholm, Thorbjørn Krogshede and Anders Stochholm also played with Howe there over the summer. These recordings more or less documents the shaping of the as-of-then unreleased "The Listener" album. The band take part in about half the songs on cd 1 and most the songs on cd 2 in one way or another. At the September show Katrine Stochholm did a half hour solo show on piano before Howe went on stage. Those recordings are not on these discs, though.

Notes: There are no real sleeve notes for this little release of outtakes and leftovers put out on Howe Gelb's own Ow Om label. Still, some of it seems to have been recorded during "The Listener" recording sessions with Under Byen. Like for instance: the instrumentation (percussion and violin etc.) on track 3 sounds much like the Aarhus tracks on "The Listener" and Henriette seems to be humming along to the song.

Notes: A tribute to famed Danish fairytale writer H. C. Andersen. Singer and songwriter Nikolaj Nørlund and lyric poet Naja Marie Aidt did do the lyrics for the album based on texts Andersen wrote about his dreams (and not his famous fairytales). The two got assistance from Danish poets such as Peter Laugesen, Jørgen Leth, Pia Juul and Ursula Andkjær Olsen. A backing band was put together and singers were invited to sing. Among them Henriette Sennenvaldt. She sings a duet with Signe Høirup Wille-Jørgensen (of Jomi Massage and Speaker Bite Me).
